  Director General

  

  Catherine was appointed ECA’s Director General in August 2015. Prior to that, she served for 5 years as the association’s EU Affairs Manager. Before joining ECA, she held positions at the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and at Hill & Knowlton.

   

• Matthijs de Meer

  Senior Manager - EU Affairs & Sustainability

  

  Matthijs is ECA’s Senior Manager – EU Affairs & Sustainability. Matthijs holds a Master’s degree in European Law and has experience working in the European Parliament on the EU’s external affairs.

• Irene Paviotti

  EU Affairs Officer

  

  Irene is ECA’s EU Affairs Officer. She holds a Master’s degree in International Development, and prior to joining ECA she worked at the European Commission and in a think tank.

• Evangelos Koumentakos

  Manager - EU Environment & Trade

  

  Evangelos is ECA’s Manager – EU Environment & Trade. Evangelos has a Master’s degree in International Law and has experience working for the European Council, consultancies and interest organisations, mainly on climate action and sustainability for agriculture and forestry. He speaks Greek, French, English, Italian, Polish and has a basic knowledge of Dutch.

• Semiran Oguz

  Finance & Office Manager

  

  Semiran is ECA’s Finance & Office Manager. Semiran has graduated in Economy and Finance and has professional experience in these fields at company and association levels.
