Michel Arrion – Executive Director

Mr. Michel ARRION is the Executive Director of the International Cocoa
Organization (ICCO), based in Abidjan since January 2019. A lawyer by training,
Michel ARRION has been an EU civil servant for thirty years, serving as
Ambassador of the European Union in several African countries: Nigeria, Rwanda,
Liberia and Côte d’Ivoire.
Michel ARRION holds a Master of Laws from the University of Liège (BE) and a
Certificate of post-graduate studies in European Integration and European Economic
Law from the University of Amsterdam (NL).
