Indonesia – EU Business Forum 2026

About the event

The Embassy, in collaboration with The Brussels Times, is organizing the “Indonesia–EU Business Forum 2026” on 6 November 2026 in Brussels, under the theme “Trade, Transformation, Partnership”. The Forum takes place ahead of the signing and implementation of the Indonesia–EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA), which is expected to open up new opportunities for trade, investment, and supply chain integration between Indonesia and the EU.

Business Matchmaking

A central feature of the Forum is a dedicated “Business Matching” session, connecting Indonesian and EU business leaders one-on-one in strategic sectors aligned with CEPA priorities. This is a direct opportunity to meet, and start doing business with Indonesian companies actively looking for EU partners.

Relevant sectors include EUDR compliance, food & beverages, agro-based products, renewable energy, digital innovation, critical raw materials, and electrical mobility – several of which align directly with the cocoa industry.

Pre-Business Meetings

Between 19 and 22 October 2026, you will have the opportunity to attend an online “Pre-Business Meeting” with specific Indonesian companies of interest. It is a chance to have focused, one-on-one conversations ahead of the main event.

You are also welcome to suggest Indonesian companies or industry sectors you already interact with or wish to explore, so the Embassy can try to arrange a match for you.
