Catherine Entzminger – Director General

European Cocoa Association


Mrs. Catherine Entzminger is the Director General of the European Cocoa Association (ECA) and has been deeply involved in the management of the ECA since 2010. She is a member of the ICCO Consultative Board of the World Cocoa Economy as well as a member of the Cocoa of Excellence Executive Council.

Before joining the cocoa sector, Mrs. Entzminger worked for 5 years at the European Parliament in Brussels as a Political Advisor. Previously, she worked for many years at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg as Co-Secretary of various committees. She also worked for the Alsace Region and headed the European and International Cooperation Departments.

Mrs Entzminger started a career as a lobbyist within the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and at Hill & Knowlton in Brussels.

Mrs. Entzminger holds a Master’s degree in European Studies (University of Reading, UK), as well as an MPhil in Political Sciences (University Paris X).
