ECA Forum 2016 in Dubrovnik

Read here the survey results for the European Cocoa Forum that took place between 15-16 September 2016 in Dubrovnik.

The European Cocoa Association held its sixth European Cocoa Forum on 15 and 16 September 2016 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. This year’s edition, which welcomed approximately 240 participants from both the private and public sectors, covered a variety of compelling topics for the cocoa sector and beyond:

*The prospects for cocoa and chocolate in Central and Eastern Europe

*The expectations and future innovative approaches to mitigate the impact of Climate Change

*Session on Cocoa tasting and testing

* The new approaches to better match scientific research and industry expectations

* The regulatory concerns for the cocoa sector and potential impact on business operators

* The innovation trends in B2B and B2C markets

The ECA team would like to express its most sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the guests who joined in Dubrovnik, including representatives from the cocoa producing countries, the United Nations Agencies, the European institutions, the research community, NGOs, students, and of course all our colleagues from the Cocoa and chocolate industry in Europe and beyond.
